1 pk Yeast 2 tb Warm H2O 5 c Flour 1 t Soda 3 ts Baking powder 1 t Salt 4 tb Sugar 1 c Shortening 2 c Buttermilk Dissolve leavening in comfortable water. Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening, supplement buttermilk as well as leavening mixture. Knead upon floured house about the minute. Roll to 1/4″ – 1/2″ as well as cut in rounds. Bake during 400 for 10 mins upon greased pan. Place tighten together. Dough can be kept in fridge up to the week covered. Best to let climb slightly. |
